6th Grade Math Holiday Assignments

All Holiday Assignments are due Monday, January 4th

Assignment #1- Text p. 190 (#1-20)- 20 points

Assignment #2- Text p. 193 (#8,10, 13, 14, 15)- 5 points

Assignment #3- Text pp. 210-211 (#7-34)- 27 points

There will be a test on fractions when the students return from break!

Math Madness- Grade 6

We will continue to study decimals and fractions for the next two weeks. In addition, students will learn to convert fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions.  In class, students are also solving lots of real-life word problems along with extended- response problems.  A quiz is scheduled for Monday, December 14th.  The quiz will include GCF, simplifying fractions, mixed numbers and improper fractions, adding and subtracting fractions, and word problems.
