HOMEWORK FOR 4/27/2009

Reading:  Finish vocabulary books that were not completed in class.

Spelling:  5x each

Math:  Study guide for Chapter 10.  These are the same types of problems that you will see on your test.  THE CHAPTER 10 TEST IS WEDNESDAY.

5th:

Reading:  Finish vocabulary books that were not completed in class.

Spelling:  5x each

Math:  Page 300:  Set B 11-15, Set C 1-3, Set D 1-4.  In addition, complete any in-class work that was not done:  Page 300, Set A:  1-13 and Set B 1-10.  Write out all questions or it will be returned. MATH TEST ON CHAPTER 11 IS ON THURSDAY. A study guide will be handed out showing example questions.  This is optional, but I will grade it for those that wish to use this to study. 

ALL:  Mystery book report is due on May 5.  I will not accept any late book reports.  If you misplaced your copy, you may look on my webpage to the beginning of March.

HOMEWORK FOR APRIL 16, 2009

We we lucky enough to watch the upper grade production of the Wiz this morning.  For that reason, the only homework is the following:

Spelling:  Study for test tomorrow

Science:  finish webquest on clouds if not done in class.

Writing:  Be sure to have journal complete.  It will be handed in tomorrow.  The entries are as follows:

1.  4/13:  Create a list of 10 items you would like to talk/write about.

2:  4/14:  Freewrite:  Choose a topic from your list and write 3 paragraphs about it.

3.  4/16:  Freewrite:  Choose a topic from your list and write 3 paragraphs about it.

4.  4/17:  WILL BE ASSIGNED ON FRIDAY.  The word is listless:  lacking energy or interest to do something.  Imagine you have a dog walking business.  Describe how you would get a large, listless dog to take a walk.
