Reading- begin rereading first half of Chapter 19 (it is a long one)  We will be having a test on it next week

Spelling-pgs.81-83,  sentences and 5 times each. 

Language Arts-p. 156 & 157 #1-20.  Begin writing your descriptive story about being a six month old baby

Social Studies-  if you did not turn in your work from your smallgroup.  The vocabulary from Lesson 2 is due on Friday.

ISAT's are over and our entire class had perfect attendance.   Bravo!  You will get a movie from Miss Grason on Friday morning.

Science- magazine we are cutting out pictures of household items that are made from minerals

ISAT TESTING WILL BEGIJN TOMORROW ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 3RD. PLEASE BE SURE YOU EAT A HEALTHY BREAKFAST AND GET PLENTY OF REST FORTHE NEXT TWO WEEKS. 

If the students do not miss any days during testing they will be rewarded with a movie by our principal, Mrs. Grason.

I may also reward them if they do not miss and they do not make any noises during testing!

Reading-We have been reading chapter 11 in class.  Please make sure your student is also rereading at home.  We are having the test on Tuesday, January 19th.

Math--We are continuing to work on Data Analysis--Mean, Median, Mode, Range and Graphs.  We will have our test on this on Friday. 

Language Arts-  We have been working on our Young Author's papers.  Please make sure you have read your son or daughter's paper and sign it please.

Social Science--Please make sure you have all your materials.  Tomorrow (Friday) will be the last day we work on these.  They will be due on Tuesday, January 19th

Reminder--We are off school on Monday, January 18th for Martin Luther KIng, Jr.

I apologize for not writing the homework on the website.  Neither one of the computers in my classroom have been working.  I have been making a point of making sure the students are taking the time to write their homework down.  Some do not have their agendas so please help them find them. 

I also am still waiting for many progress reports to come back.  They need to be signed and returned.  This was right before the Winter Break that they were sent home.  If you still have it at home please return.  Thank you and have a great long weekend!

Reading--reread Chapter 9. Please make sure you are doing this because many students are having difficulties on the chapter quiz. 

Language Arts-  Spelling pgs. 16-18 due on Friday.  Spelling test on Friday.  We have begun our peer editing in school. Some students have not finished writing rough drafts.  I need these by Thursday becasue Progress Reports go in on Friday. Spelling sentences are due on Wednesday --make sure there are 7 or more words in each sentence.

Math-  workbook pg. 38

Social Studies/Science--Please make sure you begin to gather info for your research report.  It may be off the internet or library books.  We will begin to work on this project this week.

Don't forget to send in your Christmas Carol field trip form!  I have way more than enough chaperones so if you wanted to come along I will write your name down for our next field trip!
