Parent Portal is here! A letter went home with your child that included directions and PIN numbers to access accounts in Parent Portal. Please make sure that you are checking here to monitor your child's progress. I cannot express how excited I am that CPS is now using an on-line system so parents can view grades. I normally post grades on the weekends; the best time to check for an updated grade would be Monday or Tuesday. Please view grades consistently and discuss any concerns you have with your child. If you would like further clarification, please contact me via e-mail or phone. My extension at school is 17021. I think this is a great tool to help keep your child responsible for each and every grade that he/she is given. Please keep up the great work at home.

Welcome back to the 2009-2010 school year! I"m so happy to be back working in one of the greatest schools in the city. Attached are the parent letters that will go home on the first day of school. Parents, please sign the letter and return it with your student for some points in Reading. The Young Author letter will be going home on Thursday and also needs to be returned for points in Writing.
