As you celebrate your life moments, please consider saving those pull-tabs from your aluminum can beverage of choice. We will collect the tabs throughout the school year and then deliver them to the Ronald McDonald House in Oak Lawn to support that organization.
Don't forget to recycle the rest of your aluminum cans.

The Montessori Program at Clissold School began in 1979. Students are selected each year for this program at the Kindergarten level. The selection process utilizes a computerized lottery conducted through the CPS Department of Academic Enhancement. Applications will be available in November.
Montessori developed materials which engage the child to become an active learner in the classroom. Every child wants "to learn how to learn." This is facilitated in every classroom through the prepared environment, and implemented under the watchful eyes of the teacher as a scientific observer of how children interact with materials and each other.
There are six classrooms from kindergarten through fifth grade, and each classroom has a multi-age mix of children.
